NJ STRAYS Helps Local Pet Owners and Animal Rescue Groups

in Northern New Jersey

Since 2012, NJ Strays has provided the following services to residents - human and animal - of Northern New Jersey. We are proud to support the No-Kill animal shelter movement, and to be part of reducing shelter intake and reuniting lost or missing pets with their loving owners.

Free consultation, flyers, email alert, and social media messaging ; free search, recovery and trapping (subject to staff availability)

 

Low-cost microchipping

Microchipping your dog or cat today can help prevent your pet becoming lost or stolen

 

Stolen Dogs and Cats Awareness Campaign

NJ STRAYS can customize an animal welfare awareness program for communities and students - learn how to protect the pets you love

 

 

Barn and Outdoor Cat Relocation Project     barncats@njstrays.org

NJ STRAYS works to find safe locations for feral, semi-feral and friendly cats when needed; we partner with generous barn and facility owners in rural areas

 

Owner Surrender Prevention Project     OSPP@njstrays.org

Before surrendering your pet, ask NJ STRAYS for help!  We can provide free behavior consultation and training, food assistance, vet assistance, access to low cost spay and neuter clinics and temporary boarding (subject to availability)
