Sponsor a Barncat, Save a Life
According to the New Jersey Department of Health, more than 15,000 dogs and cats were euthanized in N.J. pounds in 2016. Add to that the number of animals who die on the streets, in neighborhoods, homeless under train tracks, etc. and you've got a lot of unnecessary killing in our state.
NJ STRAYS relocates more than 100 cats to safe, rural homes per year.
We need your help!
Relocating just one cat costs $50. Our volunteers trap, transport and release stray cats over a transition period of three to four weeks to ensure life-giving success. Your donation supports this effort with food, litter, transportation and transition funds.
To thank you for sponsoring our Barncat Relocation Project!
